Clay Shield™ comes with 14 Panels that are each 105mm wide and 222mm tall. They form a 508mm circle when placed together. Your actual working circle will be larger because you'll need to allow an opening for your hands to work while trimming. The actual diameter of the circle will also depend on the type of splash pan you have (if you need to cut two panels to tuck under a splash pan.) Typically, the set gives enough space for most potters.
Suitable for removable splash pans and recessed or built-in splash pans.

Hot Clay's service and delivery is excellent. The WiziWig Clay Shield is just OK. I think it is designed for, and better suited to, Shimpo or Brent style wheels with removable splash pans, as the shield fits on the outside of them. I have a fixed splash pan, so the shield goes inside the pan and is a bit cumbersome. It stops the trimmings from flying out, but so do homemade solutions. It is not the most ergonomic or flexible item to work with. The product instructions actually suggest that if the parts of it pop apart, use duct tape to stick them together - if I was going to mess about with sticky tape, I'd make something that better suited my wheel and trimming set up!
Overall, it does the job, but if you are using a Giffin Grip on a wheel with a fixed splash pan it might not be the ideal solution.
