Underglaze Pencils

This ceramic underglaze pencil is ideal for shading, sketching or drawing fine lines into your work. It's also an excellent tool for marking test swatches.

Simply apply the underglaze pencil to bisqueware, dust lightly with a brush to remove any particles which may have fallen. Sponge on your first coat of clear glaze to prevent smudging then allow the coat of glaze dry before applying any other.

The manufacturer claims all colours can be fired up to 1300°C (Cone 11-12).
We have tested all colours to 1240°C (cone 6).
