A perfect porcelain for throwing. Southern Ice is whiter than many other porcelains and famous for its translucency even at a lower temperature. When used in reduction, it can even have a subtle blue tone.

A very smooth clay, creamy almost like butter, not easy for the beginner so you might want to have some experience with other clays before throwing with this.

As the clay contains crystalline silica, avoid inhaling the dust from dried-out clay. Wear an FFP3 mask, wash hands after use and clean up using a damp sponge. Dust off dirty clothes and aprons outside.
