Add .5 to 5% to produce light to dark green tones. The colour itself can vary in a variety of base glazes, most notably in a semi opaque satin it can produce a light blue. It becomes an active melter in some base glazes. If you want colour variation, copper oxide is a better option.

Copper carbonate is harmful if swallowed and can irritate the eyes. Wear a mask, gloves and glasses. Do not use in a domestic environment. Do not eat or drink in your workspace. Keep working areas free of dust by cleaning up with a damp sponge.
In keeping with our overall general advice, we suggest wearing full PPE when handling raw materials. This includes a mask, safety
glasses, and gloves. We also suggest working in a well ventilated area.
It is a sensible precaution for children not to work with raw materials.
