Firing and Working Notes
Firing Range:
Fire between 1186°C (cone 5) and 1222°C (cone 6), but can be fired up to 1285°C (cone 10).
Suitable for stoneware clay.

General Advice:
When handled sensibly, a 'brush-on' glaze presents no serious health issues, but to be safe, do not ingest the liquid and avoid contact with your skin and eyes.
A powder or dried brush-on glaze presents a hazard. It may contain crystalline silica and other materials, which, when inhaled, can cause long-term damage to the lungs or other health problems. We suggest when working with powders or when cleaning, wear an FFP3/P3 mask and filter and use a wet sponge.

This has become one of my favourite glazes. I use it on white stoneware and it always comes out a beautiful colour. It seems to cope with some minor temp changes (as I think my kiln has been overfiring), doesn’t pin hole and doesn’t run too much.
I haven’t had chance to use this colour yet but I loved the look of it on the website. The service I had from Hot Clay was fantastic, items were received really quickly and well packaged.
