Gladstone: G80 Glaze Mixer

The glaze mixer is probably the most underappreciated equipment, any serious glaze maker or slip caster should not be without one. Drills with mixing paddles are really not suitable for long-time mixing as the motors will eventually burn out.

The Gladstone G80 Glaze Mixer has a simple motor attached to an impeller which ensures a powerful mix but without the splash. It has 3 outward support arms which will hold the appliance within a bucket, the ideal being 21ltr (bucket supplied with the mixer).

For best results pour the necessary amount of water into the tub and progressively add the powdered material whilst the machine is in operation.
