The ceramic sealer works by filling in the porous holes in ceramic or stone creating a seal. Paint on with a fine brush and water will simply run off.

Ideally suited to bisque fired/unglazed wares or absorbent glazed surfaces such as pit firings, raku, or fired underglazes (but not glazed over with a transparent glaze). Uses could include outside or inside sculptural pieces.
It is non-toxic and non-hazardous. But we still advise caution when using this for dinnerware, as this has not been tested for cutlery marking, dishwasher/microwave use and as a long-term seal against chemicals inherent in an underlying glaze.
Brushes can be washed with water if done so immediately.
Do not use near a naked flame and use in a well ventilated area.
