Size: 200ml brush-on liquid glaze.

Remove the glaze from the pot, stir and agitate the glaze in a larger container. Make sure all the material is mixed thoroughly. Whilst keeping the glaze moving, dip the brush and hold sideways, to keep the material evenly distributed, then apply using confident dabs, move the liquid around and work quickly and smoothly. 2 to 3 applications could be needed so allow to dry between coverings.

Firing Range

Stable between 1020°C to 1060°C (Cone 06 to Cone 04), but can be fired up to 1100ºC (Cone 03).

Working Notes

It is described by Botz as a white opaque glaze.

Speckles are black, brown, yellow, light and dark blue.

Health & Safety

Good housekeeping is essential in any pottery studio to minimise inhalation of silica dust. Always clean up with a damp sponge and if any dust from the dried brush-on is airborne wear an FFP3 mask.

Excellent glaze

Vibrant speckles on white glaze. I've used this on and off for years and it fits beautifully with Vitraglaze white earthenware clay. Two thick coats sometimes is enough but three will make the clay body opaque and the white glaze makes the colours pop.
