3.25mm thick wire in 20cm lengths, made by Kanthal (A1) for the use of supporting beads, baubles and other items inside the kiln during a firing.
It can be used in conjunction with our firebrick bead racks of varying designs, using the holes to hold it between them.
Please be aware it will oxidise on its first firing leaving a black powder coating along the wire. The wire at high temperatures will bend a little so be sure to accommodate its nature in the design of the support.
Top temperature 1300°C. Do not use as element wire as its electrical specification is unknown.
