Create and fire your own beads with a bead rack.
Sturdy, quality cordierite Bead Racks with holes, sold as a pair.
Each rack can hold four rods.
First make your Bead. Make sure the hole you create in your bead allows for shrinkage whilst on a rod. Fire the bead in a bisque firing. Glaze your bead and allow to dry. Place your bead on the rod, and place the rod in the bead rack slots. Note: The rod will blacken on its first firing as it oxidises, and it will bend at high temperatures, so allow for bend in the rod, beads should not be too heavy on low racks.
This product should be used in conjunction with Nicram rods of varying thickness.
Max. firing temperature: 1300°C.
