When making a large amount of glaze/slip you will need a glaze mixer. The Gladstone G80 Glaze Mixer is ideal for quick, uniform mixing of glazes. It is a simple motor attached to an impeller which ensures a rapid mix but without the splash. It has 3 outward support arms which will hold the appliance within a bucket, the ideal being 21ltr (bucket supplied with the mixer).  

The glaze mixer is probably the most under appreciated piece of studio equipment, and any serious glaze maker or slip caster should not be without one, as drills with mixing paddles are really not suitable for long mixing as the motors will burn out.

For best results pour the necessary amount of water into the tub and progressively add the material to be mixed whilst the machine is in operation.  

The G80 is fitted with an integral on/off switch and fully complies to all CE requirements.
