As the clay contains crystalline silica avoid inhaling the dust from dried out clay. Wear a P3 mask, wash hands after use and clean up using a damp sponge. Dust off dirty clothes and aprons outside.

I was surprised to find a bag in my order to test out! Super smooth clay and great for both throwing and handbuilding.
Having only just gotten around to glazing with the vitraglaze earthenware clear, and my habit of only glazing the inside and rim of my thrown pots has bitten me badly. This body doesn't seem to like much glaze tension at all as I lost half a batch to serious splitting the whole way through the body. Lesson learnt!
The final fired colour is absolutely lovely though, and it's a dream to sculpt with.
Have just tried this 'Dune' earthenware clay and it's a beauty to throw with. A very smooth and positive clay that holds its shape well on the wheel. If earthenware is your thing, then give this a go!
