A smooth white earthenware paper clay, perfect for medium hand-building. The clay is mixed with flax fibres, which are all-natural and will burn out during firing.

Shrinkage: 8% from wet to fired (1100°C).
1080°C to 1180°C (cone 03 - cone 4).
A very plastic malleable clay, ideal for small modelling or figurines, small sculpture and hand built projects. Do not be afraid to go thin, as that is what paper clays are good at.
Be prepared for the ventilation of kiln and room when firing as it will smoke a little from the organic fibres burning out.
As the clay contains crystalline silica, avoid inhaling the dust from dried-out clay. Wear an FFP3 mask, wash hands after use and clean up using a damp sponge. Dust off dirty clothes and aprons outside.
