This is a very exciting new product for Hot Clay, but it is very much a work in progress. The procedure is a little more complicated than we would like it to be, but we are working to improve the product.

You will need to select the total dry weight of your recipe. We supply recipes from 500g up to 2.5kg. Based on your selection the materials will arrive in either a 1.7 or 3 litre bucket, this will leave enough room for you to mix with water. Make sure you are working to a correct total amount when adding your recipe.

Note that the materials listed are in 1g/10g amounts, so you are simply multiplying as necessary. If the amount on your recipe is more precise than the 1g or 10g listed, please round to the nearest 1g/10g. You will be charged based on this amount. Attach an image or document of your recipe, and we will work to the exact the amounts. You can also use the text box to create a name for the bucket label.

That is it, it will be made in our production room with the greatest accuracy, labelled and sent to you.

We must make clear of a couple of caveats to manage your expectations. We cannot be responsible for the recipe you have followed; indeed, it would be worth reading the ‘Using Raw Materials’ page which will explains the limitations and variations of materials it also gives suggested reading and videos to learn how to adjust glaze recipes.

We have not included stains in the selection as this would have made the overall list too long, but as they are sold in 50g/100g amounts you can purchase this in the normal way separately.
