The Mayco Flux is a unique mid-range glaze that creates a flowing effect when used with other mid-range glazes. This glaze has a specific composite that alters the characteristics of other glazes, revealing hidden colours and textures. This leaves your fired work with a distinctive design.

The movement and flow of the Mayco Flux can be influenced by factors including firing temperatures/programs, fluidity of the other glaze, number of coats and application methods.

473ml (16 US fl. oz) Liquid.

Mayco Flux is best applied on top or below other glazes, both creating different effects. This is formulated to be fired at cones 5-6, but can also be fired at cones 9-10 with increased movement.

Avoid applying the Mayco Flux to the bottom third of your ware, to avoid the glaze running off.
