Hand Building Canvas

Put one canvas on the table, place your clay in the centre, and the other canvas over the top. Roll the clay flat, using a rolling pin and using rolling guides for greater accuracy.

When hand-building with clay, it should be firm and dry when it comes from the bag. If the canvas gets too wet, turn over the cloth or allow it to dry.

If you use different coloured clay bodies, it would be useful to have more sets of canvas.
