Manufactured by Morgan Advanced Materials ‘Superwool® Prime’ is a soluble fibre blanket which is safer than RCF (refractory ceramic blanket). It is described as low bio-persistent, meaning it dissolves in biological environments.
The 1mm paper can withstand temperatures up to 1300°C but has a continuous use temperature of 1200°C.

Superwool® is not classified as carcinogenic by the IARC or under any national regulations on a global basis. They have no requirements for warning labels under GHS (Globally Harmonised System for the classification and labelling of chemicals).
It can be an irritant to some, so we recommend avoiding contact with the skin.
