Nabertherm RAKU 100 Pottery Kiln

The top temperature of the Raku kiln is 1100°C. The insulation allows for fast climbs in temperature but low storage of heat.

Health and safety: We recommend you go on a course to learn how to use a raku kiln safely. There are many considerations when handling red hot wares so learning good and safe practice is very important.

Kiln comes with a 3-year warranty*.

Standard Equipment:

• The burner is situated centrally underneath the kiln.
• A wide opening door that folds back for safety.
• A chamber insulated with ceramic fibre (body soluble).
• Pyrometer, thermocouple, bottle connectors and furniture set.
• Legs are included *.
• Powder-coated outside for durability and environmental friendliness.

*This kiln will be in 2 separate parts. The main body will have to be lifted using manual handling equipment to fit the base (legs) underneath.

The UK requires propane bottles. If using the kiln under shelter or inside an outbuilding make sure the bottle is housed externally. It is often recommended to have more than one bottle as it will offer better consistency in pressure.
