Nabertherm RAKU 100 Pottery Kiln

The complete Raku kiln already to go… the set includes a chamber insulated with ceramic fibre (body soluble), legs, useful under table for equipment and a hood. The burner positioned upward in the base – in the centre position. Also included in the price is the pyrometer, thermocouple, bottle connectors and furniture set.

The top temperature of the Raku kiln is 1100°C. The insulation allows for fast climbs in temperature but low storage of heat.

Health and safety: We recommend that it is advisable to go on a course to learn how to use a raku kiln safely. There are many considerations when handling red hot wares so learning good and safe practice is very important.

Kiln comes with 3 years warranty*.

*This kiln will be in 2 separate parts. The main body will have to be lifted using manual handling equipment to fit the base (legs) underneath.

The UK requires propane bottles. If using the kiln under shelter or inside an outbuilding make sure the bottle is housed externally. It is often recommended to have more than one bottle as it will offer better consistency in pressure.
