Tile Setter Crank

If you like making tiles or flat wares, then tile setter cranks are the way to go.

They will allow more tiles in a small space and reduce the energy needed to heat up shelves which is the usual alternative.
For a typical 43/45/46 or 60/61 Ltr kiln 2 tile cranks would give you space for 26 tiles. (See picture 2 as an example in our Top 45)

Note, you need to put shelves in the slots for handmade tiles, these can be bisqued, thin, premade earthenware tiles for earthenware or thin cordierite shelves for stoneware. Both measuring 152mm (6") x 152mm (6").

For permanent fixing, use kiln cement on corners.
