Use these stilts to support your pottery in the kiln during the firing process, and to keep glazed ceramic ware separated from the kiln shelf.
These stilts are high alumina stilts, and can therefore be fired up to 1300°C.
Each stilt has three arms, each terminating in an upward and downward point, thus providing minimum contact area.
Sizes are measured from point to point as pictured.
These little chaps are well made and sturdy, doing the job they were made for brilliantly. Ordering and delivery efficient and straightforward.
I fired these to 1200 C and they did the job well. Easy to remove from glazed work after firing as points nice and sharp.
