The sharpened spade shape provides an excellent precise cutting edge, especially for working around the foot of bowls and plates. The curl offers both a broad surface for smoothing and a tight shape for detailed trimming.

Bought this because of great reviews online but it's quite hard to get to grips with. The middle part of the handle where you hold it between the two different ends doesn't feel very ergonomic. It strips alot away quickly. I prefer wooden handled trimming tools.
Fab tool I like it so much
The design has all the good angles for trimming plates and bowls. Seems easy enough to sharpen, too.
