Working Notes

A broad firing range allows this clay to be treated as a low fire body or taken to the higher temperatures. Ideal for everything from thumb pots to sizable projects, the fine grog adds strength without making the body too course.

The clay colour is cream at bisque and fires to warm grey buff at glaze temperature. The higher you fire, the darker the body will become. As this is a grogged clay it is also suitable for raku firing.

Health & Safety

As the clay contains crystalline silica avoid inhaling the dust from dried out clay. Wear a P3 mask, wash hands after use and clean up using a damp sponge. Dust off dirty clothes and aprons outside.
