Speedball Mid-Fire Glaze: Dragon's Eye

Dragon’s Eye is a glossy glaze rich with deep blues and even darker mysterious accents. An incredible glaze on its own, but it is also great for layering. Dragon’s Eye benefits from an extra thick application to maximize eye-catching mottling.

Glazes are designed for firing between 1159°C-1243°C (cone 5 to cone 6).
For stoneware clay bodies.

1159°C-1207°C (cone 5).
Glossy, blue where thin with darker black mottling.

1185°C-1243°C (cone 6).
Glossy, blue where thin with darker black mottling.

Recommended 2 applications for blue with some black and more applications for more black mottling.

Other details: No slow cool.
