Product Information

A popular Frit from ‘Ferro’ although now produced in Mexico. It provides lots of boron with calcium and sodium, with little or no alumina. Use when a recipe has plenty clay which will also supply the alumina.

Health & Safety

This material is considered a nuisance dust; therefore, we recommend the wearing of a FFP3/P3 mask and filter. Keep working areas free of dust by cleaning up with a damp sponge.

In keeping with our overall general advice, we suggest wearing full PPE when handling any of our raw materials. This includes a FFP3/P3 mask, safety glasses, and gloves. We also suggest working in a well-ventilated area.

It is a sensible precaution for children not to work with raw materials.
