Brent Potters Wheels are a quality build and are hand made in the USA. They are belt driven and therefore more reliable than the direct drive counterparts which have micro computer parts and can be expensive to repair. Brent has a helpful list of replacement parts with useful videos and followed by a brilliant customer service. The Model CXC, a powerful potter’s wheel among the range, it is aimed toward the College and the advanced professional thrower. The 1hp motor will allow the throwing of very large to exhibition sized pots and the motor will run for long periods without working hard.
It is quiet and feels solid in its construction. The powerful motor will allow it to handle 135 kilos of clay continuously. The splash pan can be taken apart for ease of cleaning and there are many accessories such as leg extensions, batts and seating and tables that can fit and adapt your wheel. This wheel is suitable for the hobby to most advanced user, the motor being powerful for all users.
The Brent® CXC wheel includes the Brent® Classic Controller with these features:
