A temperature probe used in conjunction with a pyrometer to measure kiln temperatures between -50°C and 1250°C.

The Type N Thermocouple is for lower-firing environments such as raku and pizza ovens. They must not be used in electric kilns.
Specifications:
- 2 metre wire (compensating wire).
- Probe length: 200mm long, 6mm diameter.
- Mineralised sheath to protect from carbonisation and can be used in reduction environments.
- Plug is secured with a cable clamp.
- Follows the standard IEC 60584-3 colour coding and is a class 1 product.
Both the Type K and the Type N thermocouples should be used correctly to ensure a long life. We suggest you only hold it in the heat long enough to get a reading.
