Modern electric wheels spin too fast, meaning the pots dewater quicker, thus creating problems in the throwing. When standing and leaning on the edge of the one-piece splash pan, you generate momentum by moving a bar with your foot to turn a heavy flywheel, which will power your wheel. If you have a shed or outhouse that is far from an electrical supply then this could be for you. It also has the advantage of being a simple mechanical design that will last you many years, not needing spare electrical components to be replaced.

The wheel comes with a 2-year warranty (1st year parts and labour, 2nd year parts only).

*The warranty covers replacement parts which fail without fault or misuse by the user. Failed parts must be returned to Hot Clay before replacements are sent. Gladstone or Hot Clay will not pay shipping for the return of the failed part, but we will pay for the shipping of the replacement part.

This applies only to goods sold within the UK. For other countries, the warranty only covers parts and not shipping.

• If you are in a remote location or have restricted access and require a specialist vehicle, please be aware that this may incur a surcharge.
• Custom delivery can be provided at an additional cost, although this can be very expensive. We may be able to help with advice and quotes using specialist logistical companies.
