I have shopped at Hot Clays a few times now and each time I am delighted. They have the products I am looking for, small kiln shelves for my test kiln, no-one else seems to stock them. The items I buy are reasonably priced, always very well wrapped and dispatched quickly. What more could a potter wish??
Hi Emma,
Thanks so much for shopping with us again!
We’re delighted we could help you find those hard-to-source kiln shelves, and it’s wonderful to hear you’re happy with our prices, packaging, and speedy dispatch.
Happy potting!
Kind regards,
Demi
Super quick delivery and the plaster came in a tub which is super convenient compared to other potter brands.
Hi Mia,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
We’re so pleased to hear that your plaster arrived quickly and that the tub makes it more convenient to use.
Kind regards,
Demi
Really pleased with my clay! Received super quickly as well - thankyou
Pleasing array of goods for clay and always excellent service. I used to do fused glass and bought from the sister company Warm Glass so I was confident the quality and service would be of a high standard.
Hi there,
Thank you for your continued trust in us!
We’re delighted to hear you’re enjoying our range and service, and that your experience with Warm Glass followed through with us.
Kind regards,
Demi

Great prompt service, the bat pins were easy to install and will make throwing much easier.
Ordering on line was simple - no problems. Arrived on time (to the minute!). Have not used the glazes yet. Looking forward to seeing the results.

New to pottery and fine hotclay free delivery on over £60 brilliant as regularly ordering as i learn
Great products, great service and fast delivery. Only one thing stopping it being 5 star is the powders are in paper bags so the powders puff out everywhere and they are not good to get on your skin so should be properly sealed in plastic bags to prevent it from going everywhere when you unpack
Hi Gaynor,
Thank you for your kind words about our products, service and delivery, and for the helpful packaging feedback.
We’re sorry the powder bags made unpacking messy, especially given the concern about getting powder on your skin.
As a B-Corp certified company, we aim to use the lowest amount of plastic for our packaging as possible. However, I will pass your suggestion on to the procurement team upon our next review to ensure we are using the most efficient packaging for both our customers, and to co-inside with our B-Corp certification.
Kind regards,
Demi
Extremely helpful and very efficient. I can highly recommend Hot Clay!
This was my first order with Hot Clay Recommend very straightforward good communication free postage definitely helped.
A good supplier of everything pottery. Good service. Great help when needed. Convenient to call in when I need to go to Bristol Airport on taxi duties.😄
Hot Clay was a wonderful find for me as a small potter and had everything I needed to carry out my project. Great local location for and had a great welcome -I felt like a child in a toy shop -the displays of available glazes so helped in making my choices and had I needed equipment (i'm already set up)or kiln they had great options available too.
Hi there, thank you for the lovely review!
We’re so glad to hear that you found everything you needed for your upcoming project, and enjoyed exploring our glaze displays. It’s wonderful to hear you felt so welcome, we hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Demi
Usually good price and obviously quick free delivery. Although recently I've found cheaper clays including postage.
