A rich, semi-opaque glossy glaze that fires to a golden-brown and honey-amber hue with dark, variegated streaks resembling natural tiger's eye stone. It breaks lighter over textured surfaces to highlight fine detail and pools into deep, warm amber tones where applied thick.

473ml brush-on liquid glaze.

Firing and Working Notes

Firing Range:

Fire between 1186°C (Cone 5) and 1222°C (Cone 6), but can be fired up to 1285°C (Cone 10).

Suitable for stoneware clay.

Working Notes:

  • 1-2 applications will produce browns and reds.
  • 3-5 applications will result in more movement and colour variation.
  • Even though with more applications more movement is expected, the glaze will not run off your ware during a Cone 6 firing.

General Advice:

When handled safely, a brush-on liquid glaze poses no risks, but avoid ingestion and contact with skin or eyes.

A powder or dried brush-on glaze presents a hazard as it may contain crystalline silica and other materials. When working with powders or when cleaning, wear an FFP3/P3 mask and filter and use a wet sponge.
