Mayco Stoneware: Peppered Plum
A rich, semi-opaque glossy glaze featuring a deep plum-purple base speckled with dark, iron-like flecks. It breaks soft lilac over textured surfaces and pools into vibrant burgundy-purple tones where applied thick, adding dynamic depth to detailed work.

Firing and Working Notes
Firing Range:
Fire between 1186°C (Cone 5) and 1222°C (Cone 6), but can be fired up to 1285°C (Cone 10).
Suitable for stoneware clay.

General Advice:
When handled safely, a brush-on liquid glaze poses no risks, but avoid ingestion and contact with skin or eyes.
A powder or dried brush-on glaze presents a hazard as it may contain crystalline silica and other materials. When working with powders or when cleaning, wear an FFP3/P3 mask and filter and use a wet sponge.
