Made with a stainless steel frame and a comfortable polymer handle. Replacement wires are available in either straight or curly designs. The Mudcutter is slightly larger than the Carving Bow, thus the wires are specific for each tool.

This is a brilliant wire cutter with the wire cutting down to the edge of the frame. I use it for stack and slam wire wedging - when many repeat cut of the clay block down to the board are required. I prefer this technique to the usual wedging techniques which are hard on the wrist - and I think that stack and slam wire wedging gives more uniform clay. I gave the price 4 stars but in fact it is worth it.
