Can't live without these fabulous sponges!

I found these sponges way to hard on the clay. I bought them for finishing off edges of pieces and wiping small areas of underglaze off green ware. The sponges were too hard and despite numerous attempts I have abandoned them and gone back to the older natural and synthetic sponges I already had.
