A brush on Dark Green earthenware glaze, with a metallic matt finish.
Fire this glaze to Cone 05, as close as possible to 1030°c (within 15 degrees either way). Use 3 generous brushing coats or 4 regular brushing coats - this glaze needs to be applied thickly to achieve the metallic effect.
We would recommend using a plain white clay body with this glaze, as any metal oxides present in the clay body may affect the outcome of the glaze.
Lead-free. This glaze is not non-toxic or dinnerware safe, due to the presence of metallic oxides in the glaze. This glaze should only be used for non-functional ware.
