For use on Stoneware at temperatures firing from 1150°C to 1300 °C, can be used for decoration of any ceramic foundation. Use them to draw, fill in with pigments, glaze or engobe. Ceraline Wax Crayons, Made with a base of hydrocarbons, pigments and vitrification. These can be used to decorate any ceramic foundation. You can draw with them, fill in with pigments, glazes or underglaze, or simply cover it all with glaze. Transform your ceramics with the Ceraline Wax Crayons.
Stoneware at temperatures firing from 1150°C to 1300°C.
The raw oxide in the crayon would at different temperatures and time (heat work) make slightly different hues and colours.
Cobalt Oxide, for purple to blues and at high temperatures would go blue/black.
Health and Safety - although the oxides are stable inside the wax base of the crayon, we would not advise children using them. And we would also suggest washing hands after use.
